Al Edmondson

Al Edmondson has been the Mayor of Middlesex Centre for the past eight years and as such is a member of Middlesex County Council. He has been a long time member of the Middlesex-London Board of Health, one year as chair, and was also a member of the Middlesex-Elgin VON Executive for six years. 

Alʼs experience in local government includes elected terms as councillor, Deputy Mayor and two years as Warden of Middlesex County, one as Chair of Western Wardens. He is a former teacher and past owner of a small lumber company. He has coached many community teams, and as a travel enthusiast took several cross Canada Summer Camping Adventures with senior public school students. 

Recently Al served six years as a director on the Board of the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation. He is a member at large of the Western Fair Board of Directors and has been an active member of the Ilderton Lions club for over 25 years.
